This one is another school project, done for a course on Microsoft XNA Studio. It was a midterm project, meant to be a capstone on our 2D lessons and right before we transitioned to 3D graphics. We were given a week to showcase all of the techniques we had learned.
Alive is a minimalist zombie survival shooter. It’s top down, there are three guns, ammo and health pickups, and a horde of zombies ready to eat you. I’m really happy with how it turned out, and I actually managed to fit a lot in there – there’s some custom geometry code, a decent engine framework, and I managed to make some solid gameplay.
Anyway, enjoy the game! Unfortunately, this one is Windows only, but there really isn’t a way around that.
